REVELATION 10:1
1 ¶ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

139-1 {146} Then when the Lamb took the Book and broke that First Seal, God spoke from His eternal throne to say what that Seal was to be revealed. But when it's placed before John, it was in a symbol. When John saw it, it was still a mystery. Why? It wasn't even revealed right then. It cannot be revealed until what He said here at the end time. But it come in a symbol.
When the thunder... Remember, a loud clapping noise of a thunder is the voice of God. That's what the Bible said (See?), a clap of thunder. They thought it was a thunder, but it was God. He understood it, for it was revealed to Him. See? It was a thunder.
And notice, the First Seal opened--the First Seal when it was open in the symbol form it thundered. Now, what about when it's opened in its reality form?

557-5 {249} Now, why? Let us prove it. Why? It is the secret that no one knows about. John was forbidding to write about it, even, even write a symbol about it. Why? This is why there was no active in--activity in heaven; it might give away the secret. Do you see it now? If it's so great it must be included, because it's got to happen, but when the seven thunders...
Now, notice, when the seven angels come forth to sound their trumpets, there was one thunder. When Israel was gathered, there was a trumpet. When time shall be no more, the last trumpet... One thunder, but here is seven straight thunders right in a row: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, that perfect number. Seven thunders in a row, uttered not... making just--just one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, straight. Then heavens couldn't write that. Heavens can't know about it, nothing else, because there's nothing to go on. It's a relaxing time. It was so great till it's kept secret from the Angels. Now, why?
If Satan should get ahold of it, he might do great damage. There's one thing he don't know. Now, he can interpret anything he wants to, and impersonate any kind of a gift (I hope you're learning.), but he can't know this. It's not even written in the Word. It's a total secret. The Angels, everything shut up. If they made one move it might give something away, so they just shut up, quit harping; everything stopped. A...

559-5 {264} Now, notice, remember the vision of the constellation? Charlie, I... Here you are. Something going on, I told you, this week that you... It's been all around you, but I wonder if you noticed it. Remember the constellation of the vision of the Angels when I left here to go to Arizona? You remember, "What Time Is It, Sirs?" Do you remember that?
Notice, there was only one great burst of thunder, and seven Angels appeared. Is that right? One burst of thunder, seven Angels appeared.
And I saw the Lamb when He had opened the First Seal, and I heard as it was a voice of a thunder, and one of the four beasts said, Come and see.
Notice, one thunder, seven messages that's been sealed up and cannot be revealed until the last day, at this age. See what I mean?

43-2 Now, look, when it is time for the seven voices, then it's time for the seven Voices when the Book is completed of Revelations 10 to be revealed. Now, notice, listen. Now, I won't keep you too much longer; I know I'm wearing you out here; its twenty minutes till ten. Listen close now. I know standing up and you all changing positions and things. I'll be glad when the church gets fixed so we won't have to be cramped up. We can take all day to preach it.
Now, notice. Now, note, the seven voices was thunders: blast.
God help us. If I'm wrong, Lord forgive me.
I'm asking you the question. It blasted with thunder when this voice rung out. Did you notice that when the seven seals, that followed the seven church ages; when the first seal was opened, that there was a thunder? The first seals in the Book was opened, there was a thunder. Would not the first seal on the outside Book open the same way? God doesn't change His program.

155-4 {262} Now, let us find the symbols. We found out what the thunder means. That's perfectly; we know that. See? The thunder was the Voice of God when the Seal opened.
Now, what does the white horse mean? Now, here's where the revelation comes. I'm just as positive of this as I'm standing here knowing this is the Word. I've read every book on it I could find. And with a... I... The last time that I was--tried to go through it, just teaching it, about thirty years ago, I took the book... Somebody had told me that the Adventists had more light on the second coming of Christ than any people that they knowed, so I found some of their good books to read them. I got Smith's book on "Daniel's Revelation." And he said this white horse that went forth was white, and it symbolized a conqueror, and in this conquering... Many of you Adventist brethren here knows the book, and many of you others also by reading it. And others, I read two or three of... I read when the... I can't call... There's two more books read, and both men agreed that that was right. That was fine teachers, supposed to be some of the best with the best light. So I thought, "Well, if I don't know, I'll just say what they said, try to teach it that way." And they give a very good explanation of it, what it really meant.

102 The voice was the same voice that walked in the seven golden candlesticks: same voice, the voice didn't change. But the voice, where was It when he heard It the first time? How many remembers, in the first church age? Behind him. "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day," Revelation 1-1:10. So he... "In the Spirit..." If you want to put that down to Revelation 1:10 and 13, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me as a voice of a trumpet and sounded like many waters. And when I turned to look, I saw One standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks."
Now, after He showed him all that mystery of them seven golden candlesticks (holding the seven stars, and a white wig on, and so forth, and feet like brass, and eyes like fire, the symbols), then he heard the same voice (Watch.) speaking from heaven. And he looked up and he saw an open Door (Oh.), an open Door into heaven. How do you get in? By Christ Jesus, that one Door, one Way, no other way.

109 Now, he... After the church ages was over, and everything was come ready, made ready the setting of the 4th chapter here, the church ages was done. He had done left the earth. You see? Remember, the voice that spoke to him, behind him, in the seven golden candlesticks, the work was finished. And now that same voice was speaking up in heaven. What was it? He had done redeemed His people. His earthly work was finished, and He was in glory, calling to John, "Come up hither." Amen. That makes me feel like shouting on the eve of New Year. Oh, my. There you are. See, ready, "Come up here."
War... This is the setting of the great battle; the people that rejected God's message, rejected the Holy Spirit, the Messenger of the seven churches. The one that had rejected this message of His grace had nothing left, but judgment was ready. All right. He's making ready to pour out the plagues upon the earth now. "Come up hither and I'll show you what's fixing to take place. Christ-rejecting, godless sinners, I'm going to pour out My wrath upon them."

151 The same voice that summoned John, "Come up," the same voice that said to John, "Come up," is the same voice that'll summons the church someday (Amen.), summons the church.
Also, the same voice that summoned John to come up, is the same voice that summoned dead Lazarus out of the grave, that same voice of the archangel. Christ is the voice of the archangel, "voice of the archangel." See? Oh, that trumpet voice of Christ summoned John to come up, the same voice summoned Lazarus. Did you notice at the grave of Lazarus, He spoke with a loud voice. (Not just said, "Lazarus, come forth." [Brother Branham imitates weakness--Ed.]) "Lazarus, come forth!" It summoned him from the dead.
And he answered, "Here am I." And he come from the dead, after he was dead and his body rotten.

66 That's the same thing that takes place right here. The church was taken up into heaven, and John now is brought up with it as a type of the resurrected, as we took it last night. And find out that this same voice that summoned him to look back on earth, was the same voice that summoned him to come up.
Oh, every Christian. The very voice, Charlie, that summoned you one day down there in Kentucky, to turn around, is the same voice that'll summons you, "Come up." Aren't you glad of that, Brother Evans? The voice that said, "Turn around," same voice said, "Come up." Oh, my. There, what a summons. What a reality, clear, distinct like a trumpet, "Turn around; serve Me. Come up to where I am."

THE GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS
Revelation 1:12, "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks." John does not say that he turned to see the one whose voice he heard, but he turned to see the voice. Oh, I like that. He turned to see the voice. The voice and the person are one and the same. Jesus is the WORD. John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." If you can ever get to really see the Word you will be seeing Jesus.

A momentary consideration of church history will prove how accurate this thought is. In the Dark Ages the Word was almost entirely lost to the people. But God sent Luther with the WORD. The Lutherans spoke for God at that time. But they organized, and again the pure Word was lost for organization tends toward dogma and creeds, and not simple Word. They could no longer speak for God. Then God sent Wesley, and he was the voice with the Word in his day. The people who took his revelation from God became the living epistles read and known of all men for their generation. When the Methodists failed, God raised up others and so it has gone on through the years until in this last day there is again another people in the land, who under their messenger will be the final voice to the final age.

E-61 Jesus sounded His trumpet. He showed them by His signs and wonders that He was the Messiah. Yes, sir. The Christian soldier is trained to hear the Word-sound of the Gospel. The real Christian soldier is trained to that. Jesus said, "My sheep know My voice." What is the Voice? Jesus is the Word. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." Then a real sheep of God hears the voice of the Word. "My sheep hear My voice, and a stranger they don't follow." Get it?
Creeds and dogmas, and so forth, is injected into It. They won't follow that. They've got to hear the unadulterated Word, and see It manifested. Watch just a little bit here in the Gospel in a few minutes, see if it is or not. They've got to... "My sheep hear My voice."

53 Now, if you'll take Saint John 5:24, listen to this, "He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life."
Now, how would that be so much different from many of our theologies? Now, I could walk out here and say to a drunkard, "Do you believe?"
"Sure."
A man with another man's wife, "Do you believe?"
"Sure."
"Did you set in the meeting last night to hear the Word?"
"Sure."
"You believe It?"
"Sure." He's just saying that.
But the original interpretation of this Word, "he that understandeth My Word, and will believe on Him that sent Me... He that understands," that is to who It's made known to.
Jesus said, "No man can come to Me except My Father has drawed him. And all that My Father hath given Me, they will come. My sheep, My doves, hear My Voice. A stranger they will not follow." And what is the Voice of God? Is the Word of God. What's any man's voice but his word? It's the Word of God; they'll hear the Word of God.

If you notice that's Christ (See?), 'cause He in the Old Testament was called the Angel of the Covenant, and He's directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished. See? All right.
... and his face... as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
You remember that Angel in Revelations 1? Same thing. Angel is a messenger, and He's a Messenger to Israel. See? The Church has been raptured. See? Now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church.

74-4 {44} Now, we see that this seven-sealed Book now, is the mystery of redemption. It's a Book of Redemption from God. Now, all the mysteries at this time should be finished at the sounding of this messenger. Now, here's the angel on earth, and another Angel, mighty Messenger come down. See, this angel was a earthly angel, messenger. But here comes One down from heaven: a rainbow, covenant. See? Only Christ, it could be; just exactly like it was in Revelations 1st chapter, standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks with a rainbow to look upon as jasper and sardius stone.
