REVELATION 3:7-13

  7     ¶  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

REVELATION 3:8

8    I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

REVELATION 3:9

9    Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

REVELATION 3:10

10    Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

REVELATION 3:11

11    Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

REVELATION 3:12

12    Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.

REVELATION 3:13

13    He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 131-183  MONDAY_  60-1205

81    Now, the first round, the apostles. Now, we see this is the beginning, Pentecost. He's walking around, the same great God, the same great signs was to take place all down through these ages because He walked among each age. Blessing what? His people that's assembled in His Name.

I want you to watch in this as we go through the church. This church had Jesus' Name. This church had Jesus' Name. This church had Jesus' Name. And this church lost It. This church come out, the Lutheran age, with "a name that you live, but you're dead." And goes right on down until the end of this age; and between this age and this age there's an open door set that brings back that Name again to the church. Now, watch and see if that isn't true, after we get it here in the Scriptures. There between the--the ages...

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

130    Now, let's just read it, and I'll catch it word by word just the way He brings it. See, "Behold..." Let's see:

... no man shutteth;...

... set before thee an open door,...

It's on the other side.

I know Thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:...

"A open door," what was it? It was the revelation of the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ, not being a second person of a trinity, but being God Himself made flesh and dwelling among us. And the revelation...

Now, if you notice, just in a minute, let's just read just a little bit farther.

... shut it:... and has a little strength,... and has not denied my name.

The first time the Name's been spoke of now since back in this age back here, lost its Name; and Luther come out with a name that he was alive and was dead (Is that right?), Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Here comes out the Name of Jesus again in between these two ages here, in between: the open door. Now, it's a revelation what He was, the Deity, the revelations of His Deity.

TEN.VIRGINS_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 425-492  SUNDAY_  60-1211M

7    Now, tonight we're going to have the final great age of this, Laodicea. And last night we took the Philadelphian age and come over into the beginning of the Laodicean age and the lapover. And then them great mysteries that God begin to reveal to us between those ages, "the open Door," and "a little strength," "held My Word," "got My Name." All those little things in there, how God did so marvelously make them real to us, to which we are very, very thankful.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

254    ... make them... the synagogue of Satan,... (All right.)... And they shall know... come to your feet, and... know that I... loved you.

Because thou hast kept the words of my patience, I also will keep thee in the hour of temptation,...

Watch now, to show this is not the Methodist age I'm talking about, yet it's the lapover. Look. Are you ready to listen? Everybody? Listen close now.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee... (that little remnant)... from the hour of temptation, when...

The church is going to come to a place where you're going to have to get in this organization or--or be... You're going to--you're going to have it, brother. That's all. You're either going to be organized or take the mark of the beast, or take... You're either going to organize it, or go in the denomination (which is actually coming the mark of the beast), 'cause it's a boycott. See?

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

256    Now, this great temptation, the hour of temptation that shall come to try the whole world, goes into the tribulation (Just in a few minutes we'll see it.), goes on into the tribulation, and the tribulation did not come in the days of Wesley. So what age are we in? What's this Door set before? It's between the Wesley and the--where the church is headed right now, and already into, the Laodicean age. But this little place right in here, that's been the last thirty-five, forty years, has been an open door setting right before the people to come in, and God will take the remnant and seal it off. And they'll go on into a lukewarm, and He'll spurt them out of His mouth. The work will be cut short, up goes the church, and here comes the antichrist moving in for destruction. Just perfect, fits with the whole Bible right on around.

313-2 PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.8

"I will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." This verse is not a declaration that the true church will go into and through the tribulation. If it meant that it would have said that. But it said, "I will keep thee from the hour of temptation." This temptation is exactly like the temptation in Eden. It will be a very inviting proposition held up in direct opposition to God's commanded Word, and yet from the standpoint of human reasoning it will be so very right, so enlightening and life-giving as to fool the world. Only the very elect will not be fooled. The temptation will come as follows. The ecumenical move that has started on what seems such a beautiful and blessed principle (fulfilling Christ's prayer that we all might be one) becomes so strong politically that she bears pressure upon the government to cause all to join with her either directly or through adherence to principles enacted into law so that no people will be recognized as actual churches unless under direct or indirect domination of this council. Little groups will lose charters, privileges, etc., until they lose all property and spiritual rights with the people. For example, right now unless the local ministerial association approves in many, if not most cities, one cannot rent a building for religious services. To become chaplains in the armed services, hospitals, etc., it is now almost mandatory to be recognized as acceptable to the trinitarian ecumenical groups. As this pressure increases, and it will, it will be harder to resist, for to resist is to lose privilege. And so many will be tempted to go along, for they will feel it is better to serve God publicly in the framework of this organization than not to serve God at all publicly. But they err. To believe the devil's lie is to serve Satan, even though you may want to call him Jehovah. But the elect will not be deceived.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

264    Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,...

Oh, let's just take it word by word here for a minute. Will you bear with me that long, just a little bit? I know it's hot, and you know it's hot up here too. But let's see.

I'll make a... He that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,...

Pillar... A pillar, or a foundation. Foundation in the temple of the house, or the house of God. "The temple of my God," or, "the house of my God." It's a pillar, the foundation. These are those that took the Word which they heard in verse 8, and went back to the foundation.

65-1 PATMOS.VISION  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2

But in one last closing glimpse of this chapter, see Him as He stands there in the midst of the golden lampstands with the seven stars in His right hand. Oh, it is breathtaking to see Him standing there in His Supreme Deity. He is the Judge, the Priest, the King, the Eagle, the Lamb, the Lion, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, He Which Was, Which Is, Which Is To Come, the Almighty, the ALL IN ALL. There He is, the Author and Finisher. Worthy is that Lamb! He proved His worth as He bought our salvation by Himself. Now He stands in all His power and all His glory with all things committed unto Him as Judge.

332-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9

Jesus is giving us this description of Himself in relation to the last age. The days of grace are winding up. He has looked from the first century right through to the twentieth, and told us all things concerning these ages. Before He reveals the characteristics of the last age to us, He gives us one final look at His own gracious and supreme Deity. This is the capstone revelation of Himself.

 17-5 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

The Spirit of God in John expresses thusly in order to set forth the Supreme Deity of Jesus Christ and to reveal the Godhead as ONE God. Today there is a gross error. It is that there are three Gods instead of one. This revelation as given to John by Jesus, Himself, corrects that error. It is not that there are three Gods, but one God with three offices. There is ONE God with three titles, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This mighty revelation is what the early church had, and it must be restored in this last day along with the correct formula of water baptism.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

143    All right. Now, what did He say? "No man can shut it."

I know Thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door,...

What is the open door? The revelation of the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. What did He say to His first church back here, back in this age? He said, "I am He that was, which is, and shall come. I am the First and the Last. I am the Almighty." He said it three different times, made Hisself Deity to this first church here; before He went into the last church age, He said, "I've set before you an open door." If you want to see the revelation, here it is, where He'd build His church. And the only way He could take His church, is back to the revelation of what He is. Truly.

TOKEN.THE_  BAKF.CA  V-22 N-8  SATURDAY_  64-0208

41    Many Jews wants to say He was a Jew. Many of us wants to say He was a Jew. He was neither Jew nor Gentile. He was God. He was a created Being by the hand of almighty God. He created a tabernacle He lived in, which we know is the Son of God. That's right. The deity, the supreme deity of Jesus Christ, 'cause God dwelt in Him.

Peter said, "You men of Israel; Jesus of Nazareth, a Man made known by God by signs and wonders, you took with wicked hands and crucified Him, who we're witnesses of His resurrection," when the Holy Ghost had been poured out upon them.

Now, we find out that in this great thing, that as God was identifying Himself with Israel back there, and requiring that identification...

RISING.OF.THE.SUN_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-12  SUNDAY_  65-0418M

3-2    Well, if you'll turn the picture like this and look (and you can probably see it from the audience), it's Christ. See His eyes looking here just as perfect as it could be, wearing the white wig of supreme Deity and Judge of all heavens and earth? Can you see His eyes, nose, His mouth? Just turn the picture from this (the way they had it), this a-way, the way it's supposed to be. And you... Can you see it? He is supreme Judge; there's none other but Him. And that is a perfect identification again, a vindication that this Message is the truth. It is true. And making Him, not a third person, but the only Person with the white...

See, you see the dark, His face, His beard, and His eyes? And notice, He's looking; from Him comes this Light shining on the right-hand side to which He's looking to. And on the cross that's where He looked, to the right, where He pardoned the sinner. In the light of His resurrection we still go forth in His Name.

WHAT.IS.THE.ATTRACTION?_  JEFF.IN  V-8 N-8  SUNDAY_  65-0725E

142    And the other day, standing there, turned the picture to the right, and there's Jesus as He was in the Seven church Ages, the white wig on, showing Supreme Deity. He's Alpha and Omega; He's the First and the Last; He is the Supreme Judge of all eternity, standing there, confirmed the Message of this hour. And there shall be Light about the evening time! What's it all about? What was it?

WHAT.IS.THE.ATTRACTION?_  JEFF.IN  V-8 N-8  SUNDAY_  65-0725E

147    Everything, that--that shall never die, it's constantly unrolling itself. From the very thing happening, to the picture being Jesus standing looking at us, and now exactly on Sunset Mountain, and the sunset Light. The evening Light has come, God vindicating Himself. What is it? It is a fact's, that God and Christ are one. The "white." How many seen it, the white wig upon Him, as we talked in Revelation 1? See, the Supreme Deity, Supreme Authority! No other voice, no other god, no other nothing. "In Him dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily." The Angels themselves was His wig. Amen.

LAW.OR.GRACE_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-7  WEDNESDAY_  54-1006

65    Now, if you're believing right... If you just confess it with your lips, it don't do much good. But from your heart, if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, you can't live the same life you once lived. You can't, if you ever get a true view of Calvary. Now, if you're just taking just a haphazard way, you're just--you're just fooling yourself.

But when you really get a view of what Jesus was... Oh, my, how I like to preach the Deity, the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. If you could ever realize Who He was, and what He did for you men and women, your hearts would rend within you, and you'd be willing to throw away the trash of the world to live for Him. Oh, how marvelous, and what a Person He was. If you realize the condescending of God Himself, unfolding Himself, coming down till He could get into your heart...

HEBREWS.CHAPTER.4_  JEFF.IN  HEB  SUNDAY_  57-0901E

122-5    Then we find out the real supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. The whole Book here is just a revelation of Jesus Christ. And He come... We find that in sundry times and in divers manners, God spoke to the fathers through the prophets. In this last days through His Son Christ Jesus He's revealed Himself. And the Book from Genesis to Revelations is nothing but one constant, perpetual, revelation of the Lord Jesus.

And we find out that He was the One that was in the burning bush. We find out that He was the One that was with God before the foundation of the world. And we find out that in the New Testament, He was God and man together. And then when He left the New Testament to go into heaven, He said, "I came from God, and I return to God."

HEBREWS.CHAPTER.6.AND.7._  JEFF.IN  HEB  SUNDAY_  57-0915M

253-525    And in this marvelous teaching here of Saint Paul, in the backgrounds in the former chapters he has specifically been dealing with the supreme Deity of the Lord Jesus and Who He was. Christ was God made so that man could feel Him, and touch Him, and--and fellowship with Him. Christ, the Lord Jesus was the body that God dwelt in: "God was made flesh and dwelt among us." I Timothy 3:16, "Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, for God was manifested in flesh."

The great Jehovah came down and was made tangible by living in the body of His own Son, declaring and reconciling the world to Himself. God was nothing... Christ was nothing short of God, and--and God was nothing short of Christ. The two together made the Godhead bodily, made a little lower than Angels so that He could suffer. Angels cannot suffer. Jesus was the Tabernacle that God dwelt in.

The Bible said in the 7th chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, that tabernacles and burnt... "Sacrifice and burnt-offerings Thou wouldest not, but a body has Thou prepared Me. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in tabernacles made with hands, but a body has Thou prepared Me." That in tabernacling or dwelling in a fellowship with men...

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

58    Now, just a little comment before we read again. This morning we taken the Supreme Deity of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Who God revealed Him to us this morning as the supreme Deity: the great I AM (not I was or will be), I AM, always. And we notice in this 1st chapter of Revelation, of the Revelation... What is the revelation of? Jesus Christ. What's the first thing He reveals Himself here as? The God of heaven, not a triune god, but a one God: one God; and He reveals Himself that way in the first of the Revelations, and speaks it four times in the 1st chapter so that there will not be a mistake. The first thing you've got to know that He is not a prophet; He is not a junior god; He is not a secondary god; He is God. He is God. And so therefore, the revelation came forth, and we still continue with It tonight on down as we get His sevenfold Personage of His Being.

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

143    "In the Spirit on the Lord's day..." Now, we hear it. Now, what? And what was he done? He was transferred from the isle now, in the Spirit, over into the Lord's day. And as soon as he got over into the Lord's day, he heard a trumpet. What is it? It's Somebody approaching. A great One's approaching. Trumpet sounds, Somebody's coming. He looked. Hallelujah.

... trumpet,

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:... (Hm. Not announcement of the second party, or the third party, but the only party. "I'm both Alpha and Omega; before I show you anything, I want to let you know Who I am." Amen.)

The greatest of all the revelations is the Deity, the Supreme Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. You can't get to first base until you believe that, walk out... That's what Peter said, "Repent, and then see the Deity. Be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and then you're ready to go in the Spirit." The first thing you have to know is the Deity of Christ. "I am Alpha and Omega. I'm from A to Z; there's no more but Me. I was at the beginning; I'll be at the end. I'm He that was, which is, and shall come, the Almighty." Think of it. That's what the trumpet said.

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

147    All right, the first of all revelations is the Supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. You must know Who He is when you hear the voice (All right.), the same voice that sounded on Mount Sinai, the same voice that sounded on Mount Transfiguration, the same One, One like the Son of man.

Now, watch in this next verse. All right.

And I turned... (the 12th chapter now)

We're going to leave these churches alone just for a minute, because this whole week coming on these churches. See, so we're just going to pass over that.

But He said, "These... I'm going to direct you to send this message that I show you." Who is? "I'm the First and the Last. I'm the Supreme One. I'm the Almighty One. And I've come to tell you that I'm giving you a message to seven churches. I want you to write it, get it ready." See? "And the seven churches that are in Asia..." Now, they were churches there then with the nature in them that represented these church ages to come.

THYATIREAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 287-327  THURSDAY_  60-1208

47    Now, we find here, each time when He meets a church age, He addresses him as one of His Deity Names. Now, we find out back there, the first in all revelations is the Deity, the Supreme Deity of Jesus Christ: "I am He that was, which is, and shall come. I am the First and the Last, the Almighty God." See, the first revelation... John turned to look what was talking to him. The first thing He addressed him at...

Any king, when he's addressed, he--he tells who he is; anybody. "I am So-and-so when I speak to you; you don't know me. I'm William Branham. I'm John Doe," whoever it is.

He said, "I am the First and the Last, He that was alive and is dead, am alive forevermore." Oh, my. The Deity... Here we see Him in His sevenfold Personage of His glorified state. In each church age He--He approaches them in a different one of those Deities, a different one of those glorified states.
