REVELATION 1:19-20

  19    Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

  25-1    John looked around, and there was no man in heaven, no man on earth, nobody, no Angel, nothing could take the Book or to loose the Seals or to even to look on It. No man was worthy. John said he wept bitterly. Then an Angel came to him, said, "Weep not, John, for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed, and He's worthy."

And John looked to see a Lamb--or see a Lion, and what did he find? A Lamb, and it was a bloody Lamb, a Lamb that had been slain. How long? Since the foundation of the world. The Lamb came forth, walked up to Him that had the Book in His right hand, and received the Book, climbed upon the throne and set down. That's it. It was over. When? When the seals was revealed. When the last one that was... Everything that He had redeemed, there was nothing... He come to redeem. Said, "Why didn't He redeem them forty years ago, two thousand years ago?" See?

  33    Bless this church, it's pastor, it's associates, and the deacons, trustees, all of its members, the visitors, strangers. They're not strangers, Lord. We're all Your children by grace and by Christ. And we pray that You'll give to us this morning the Bread of Life now, that we might go from here with the understanding that these requests that we asked has been granted to us.

Bless the Word, Lord, as I read It. There's no man that--that's able or sufficient to interpret that Word. John saw the Book in the hand of Him that set upon the throne, and there was no one in heaven, or on earth, or beneath the earth that was worthy to even look at the Book. But one of the elders said, "Behold, the Lan--the Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed." John, looking to see a--a lion, he saw a Lamb that had been slain; a--a bloody Lamb come forth and took the Book, climbed upon a throne, and set down. And all the celebrity of heaven took their crowns from their heads and bowed and knowed He was worthy.

Lord, we pray that He'll come to the throne of our hearts this morning, climb up and take possession of every thought that we have, and take the Word, and speak to us, that we might know more about Him and His plan in our lives. We ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen.

76-2 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3

At the time of the giving of the Revelation, according to tradition, Paul had already died a martyr, but John was carrying on in his stead exactly as Paul had done in the days of his ministry. The death of Paul, before the Revelation was given, does not at all annul the fact that he was the messenger to the Ephesian Church Age, for the messenger to every age, regardless of when he appears or goes, is the one who influences that age for God by means of a Word-manifested ministry. Paul was that man.

22-1 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

But let us not stop there. Read now in Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne." Also read Hebrews 12:2, "Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Notice that according to Jesus, Himself, Who wrote the Revelation, He is set down WITH the Father. The Spirit in Paul (Which Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, for That is the Spirit of Prophecy whereby the Word comes) says He is set down at the RIGHT HAND of God. But when John looked he saw only "ONE" upon the throne. And it was not until Revelation 5:6-8 (which follows Revelation 4:2-3 in sequence of time) that we see the "Lamb" taking the book from "HIM" That sat on the throne, as indicated in Revelation 4:2-3 and 9-10. What is it? It is the mystery of "ONE GOD." He (Jesus), came out from God, became manifested in flesh, died and rose again, and returned to the "Bosom of the Father." As John said, "The only begotten Son Which is IN the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him." John 1:18. It was now time for God (Messiah) to come back to claim His bride and then present Himself (make Himself known) to Israel. Thus we see God again stepping forth to assume a physical relationship to man as the "Son of David, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and Bridegroom of the Gentile Bride." It is NOT "Two" Gods, but simply ONE GOD manifesting His mighty triune offices and titles.

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

  215    Watch now, hair like wool, and eyes like flames of fire, feet like brass, and a voice of many waters.

And he had in his right hand seven stars:...

"Seven stars." Now, let's take the 20th verse right here.

And the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.

The seven stars are seven angels... (or seven messengers, seven ministers)... of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks that thou sawest are the seven churches.

He interprets it for him so there'd be sure to be no mistake. An angel for each church age... Oh, that's going to be beautiful, this week, when we go back yonder in history and pick up them angels and see the very ministry they had. They had the same ministry, exactly the same all down through the age in that little church.
