EPHESIANS 1:3-6

»     3     †      ¶  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

»     4     †     According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

EPHESIANS 1:5

»     5     †     Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

»     6     †     To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

ROMANS 8:14-19

»     14     †     For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

ROMANS 8:15

»     15     †     For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

ROMANS 8:16

»     16     †     The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

»     17     †      ¶  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

»     18     †     For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

ROMANS 8:19

»     19     †     For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

«  E-47       †        And through the Blood you become a part of Him, into the same cell that He came out of. And the very Presence and part of God comes into you. By faith you purchase it. And that same Holy Spirit that was in the Lord Jesus Christ comes into you. And then you are sons and daughters of God, adopted by the Lord Jesus Christ into the Body of Christ. Amen. That'd make the Methodist shout.

Think of it, brother, how that God in His infinite mercy, purchasing us through the Blood of Jesus. And now, setting at the right hand of the Majesty ("right hand" means "in power and authority") that as a High Priest, to make intercessions upon anything that we confess that He has done. After once coming into the fellowship, sign your name on the check, say, "Here it is." There you get it? We believe that we get what we ask for, 'cause we've judged God to keep His Word.

«  E-70       †        Oh, He's real. Adopted by the Father into the fellowship, and into the body of believers by the Holy Ghost, and a vindicated ministry, proving... You don't have to talk so much about it, God does His Own talking. God testifies of His gifts. But all those gifts are wonderful; they're dandy; and we love them all. God grant that every one of us would have every gift, but I'd rather have the Giver than all the gifts. Paul said, "You... though I could have the gifts, without the Giver..."

Now, if we had have went to seeking the Giver instead of the gifts, I believe the Church would've been farther up the road, don't you think so? If we'd stayed close to God, and loved Him, and just kept living for Him, and not trying to push things over; just live for God, and live a pure, holy life, and live, and pray every day, keep yourself refreshed in His Presence. God will take care of the rest of it.

«  E-21       †        Now, but we are sons of God like He was, but adopted sons of God by His grace. By the death of Jesus, God's son, brings us into relationship to God. Now then, God with His adopted sons, has set in the church, some apostles, some teachers, some prophets, some evangelists, and so forth, down like that. Now, they're just small gifts.

Now, we will take, whether Jesus got weak or not with all that power. One day He was going along, and a woman touched His garment. And she--that was her point of contact. She believed Him with all of her heart. And she run off out in the audience, somewhere. Jesus turned around, and said, "Now, who touched Me?"

And the apostles said, "Why, Lord, who touched You," why said, "Everybody's touching You. Why say, 'Somebody touched You?'"

He said, "But I perceive that virtue has gone out of Me." Is that true?

«  123       †          Jesus claimed that He's done nothing until the Father showed Him. And the Father is the Holy Spirit, we realize that. It's just a office of God. If it isn't, then which one of them is the Father of Jesus Christ? Jesus said God was His Father, and the Bible said the Holy Ghost was His Father. Now, you can't make Him be an illegitimate child, so the Holy Ghost is God, so was Jesus God. So, God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is... It's the... That's three offices of one God. It's three attributes, the same God.

124    You're a part of God, and I'm a part of God, see; but I'm not all of God, and neither are you all of God. See? See? It's attributes of God upon us, as sons adopted by Jesus Christ. Which, God Himself became flesh, to die for us.

«  E-17       †        Now, we find Him a few days before this, great things He had done. And just a few hours before the instant that we're speaking of, He'd been crossing a sea. Tired, weary, virtue had been going out of Him; people had been healed. He'd been preaching the Gospel, and on His road across the sea, the--over to the land of Gadara, He'd got so tired and weary until He laid down in the back end of the boat.

Some of them had fixed Him a little pillow back there because they loved Him, and when they was rowing in the... Sails a going, and all the apostles moving with their oars, He'd gotten so sleepy, and so tired and wore... See? He was Man in one sense; He was God in another sense. He was Man in flesh; in Spirit He was God. We just went through that.

The Dove came on the Lamb, and they two became one. The Lamb was one Creature, and the Dove was another Creature; and when the Dove and the Man--the Dove and the Lamb united together, God was manifested in the flesh. That's right.

And now, He's manifested in your flesh by being adopted sons and daughters to the Kingdom of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That's right, and you become joint-heirs with the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, Church, you got the power if you got the faith to use it with. That's it.

«  E-24       †        We've changed that. We've made it to joining church, teaching theology, having schools; nothing against that, but you see, it's not what He said. "The works that I do, shall you do also. More than this shall you do, for I go to My Father. A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet you'll see Me. For I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Here friends is this picture, I guess you was showing awhile, this picture here. They got that in Germany and all around the world. Since a little child, I saw that.

Now, to me if you'll pardon it, I... It's not my picture; I had nothing to do with this part. It's the Angel of the Lord.

Now, how many Bible teachers knows in here, that the Angel of that Lord, that led the children of Israel through the wilderness, was Christ? Is that right? When He was on earth, He said, they was questioning, St. John 6, He said, "Why, You--we know that You're have a devil now, if You say You're before Abraham, before Moses, and before this, that."

He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." Is that right? Who was the I AM? The Angel that talked to Moses in the Pillar of Fire, in the burning bush. He led the children of Israel through the wilderness. Then He was made flesh and dwelled among us, God made flesh. The Bible said He was. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. He was the Tabernacle which God lived in, borned a virgin birth, and was in this Tabernacle of His Son, manifesting, showing, expressing Himself to the world, Him being the Son of God, that He might bring other adopted sons into the Kingdom.

«  E-86       †        Now, lady, this afternoon, me not knowing you, or you not knowing me...?... then if the Holy Spirit remains the same, that was in Jesus is in us, because God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, He was the Son of God, and we're adopted sons and daughters of God. And if He will tell me something that you have done, something that you'd planned on doing, something that you're here for, a sickness, or--or somebody you're--want to be prayed for, or something, would it make you believe and have faith? Would the rest of the audience believe? Do you know the woman, anybody? All right.

Now, don't be frightened. You're a Christian, 'cause I feel your vibration of your spirit. See? You're a Christian believer. You have nothing to worry about. Just be humble, believe. One thing you're suffering with is a nervous condition. You're extremely nervous. That is right. You have a lady's trouble, a female trouble, dropped glands. That's true.

«  28       †        With earnest expectations, the whole creation is waiting for the manifestation (See?), the manifestation. What is the manifestation? Making known.

The whole world. The Mohammedans over yonder, they're looking for it. All around, everywhere, they're looking for it. "Where is these people?" We've had the... We've had a mighty rushing wind; we've had thunders and lightnings; we've had oil and blood; we've had all kinds of things; but we failed to hear that little still small Voice that attracted the prophet, that wrapped the robe around him, and walked out, said, "Here am I, Lord." See?

«  117       †          The great Light that hung in the wilderness which was, that Moses forsook Egypt, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater treasures than that of Egypt.

118    The same One that met Saul on the road down to Damascus. A great Light hung before Him, that same Light, same Pillar of Fire. Saul, being a Hebrew, would never worship any spirit or anything, or call it "Lord," in the position he was in. He said, "Lord, who are You?"

119    He said, "I'm Jesus." (Jesus said, "I come from God, and I go to God.")

120    That same Light has come. To what? To manifest, to--to make known to the people the promises that He's made for this day, manifested Light of the day. The darkness is darkened.

«  170       †        How many doesn't have a prayer card, raise up your hands. Do you believe God's in His people? The same God that walked in Galilee in Jesus Christ, you believe He's here today in you, the same Spirit was in Jesus? He is the virgin-born Son of God; and you are adopted sons by Him. The same Spirit was in Him is in you.

All right, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, let those come. We call them like that so we won't have a congestion, you know, walking around so much. All right, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40. That's right; just move right down there, and they'll stick you right in the line there. If you can't move, why, let somebody know, they'll pack you.

«  E-72       †        Now, look lady, if the Lord Jesus will reveal to me something of you, that you know I don't know nothing about you, and if the Lord Jesus will reveal something to me, that you know it has to come supernatural, would--would it make you believe better? It would? Would it make the audience believe better? Now, she's close to me, here (You see?), just real close.

Now, this is the same picture of Saint John 4: a man and a woman meeting for the first time, setting here. It's just a... Maybe the little well was a panoramic like this. Now, Jesus begin to talk to her. Now, you're not the woman, and I'm not Him, but His Spirit still lives. See? In that time it was in the flesh called the Son of God. And now, we're adopted sons of God, by His grace, so that His work can carry on (See?), and still declaring.

60-0403  AS.THE.EAGLE.STIRRETH_  TULSA.OK  V-2 N-12  SUNDAY_

«  32-3       †        All right. Now, they have ceased. You can go home and be well. I want to ask you people something. What did that woman touch? Here's my hand. I never remember a... She's been in meetings. Now, you say, "How about somebody up there in the balcony or down in here, maybe in the meetings sometime before." I would never know who you were. Only thing I know that you're just... You was here at the meeting. And there she is. She touched something. And what did... I... I said awhile ago, that Pillar of Fire... Don't you see it's... How many's got the picture of It now? They got it here at the meeting. Now, It looks like the Pillar of Fire, doesn't It? And now the life of It, what does It produce? The same... Not me now, It, what does It produce? The same works that It did when It was in the Son of God. Now, It's in adopted sons and daughters of God, by the grace of the true Son of God.
